ari aster, the man that you are. this was the perfect horror for me, a slow burn, unsettling creepshow that left me incredibly disturbed. that statue at the end brought a deep, primal fear out of me that i’ve literally never felt before. masterpiece, i’m gonna binge every single one of his films tomorrow (or tonight considering i’m probably not gonna be getting any sleep after that).
