In a time when the romance genre is tired and repetitive, this is a perfect sense of melancholic fresh air presented in a true piece of art, Spike Jonze did a fantastic job with the amount of effort put into this film, it feels like a passion project, you can sense the love which is also represented in Joaquin Phoenix’s devastatingly empathetic and loveable performance. A film that is near perfect!
