The things we could've had if this was a full musical adaptation. It's genuinely going to eat away at me for decades it would've been perfect. Just add the fucking songs. I 100% bet Shirley and Jack would've been down for it and I will literally never be happy without a 60s film musical of Irma la Douce. You just don't GET ITTTTT Billy Wilder was not the first bitch to make ILD great, it was well established and won some Tony's because its that good. Genuinely one of my all time favourite musicals ever, such a fantastic show and so funny, and it would've worked as a film! Why the fuck did we get a shit Man of La Mancha film with Peter O'Toole and not ILD. Still love this tho xx
