i rewatched this movie because i had seen in in july this year when i didn’t have Letterboxd yet and i felt like it needed a rewatch and a review mostly because i love to yap about well made movies. i can’t give this movie anything but five stars, it is so different than anything i have ever seen before. what i admire is the nonchalant vibe of this. strong gore and graphic detail of the murders isn’t directly shown to the viewers but can be highly disturbing and can get the audience to feel uncomfortable or uneasy. it says everything in such grace and in a very beautiful way and this movie just confirms that David Fincher is one of the greatest of the best filmmakers ever because of the way he can make everything work at once and make it seem so natural and real. an eye-catching story with everything it needs to have from fantastic cinematography to the flawless storytelling, with a strong twist and a deep meaning that will have you thinking about it for some time. shoutout to Sofi for making me watch this movie and getting me into Letterboxd and deepen my passion and love for film.
