Conclave
Thinking of how to review this film.... I went into it expecting something good, but it blew me away honestly.
At some points it was a true comedy, at others it was a horror film.
Conclave is the story of how a man learns about loneliness and betrayal, but not like its anything novel to him. He is used to this, and yet the backstabbing seems to render him astounded, sometimes.
The many twists kept me mildly horrified, but the beautiful cinematography kept me mesmerised.
I found myself reading into the school of cardinals as the film ended, how a millenia-long history of a group of men can be so rich, yet predictable somehow.
One of my favourite lines was from Lawrence's homily about doubt.
