Ghost in the Shell
THE SOUL VS THE MACHINE
Ghost in The Shell is an odd one. Beautiful and aesthetically great and I find all the characters very likeable despite knowing so little about the.
I feel as if this is a film to be watched multiple times to fully grasp. It always felt like I was truly just a spectator unable to predict or truly tell what Major is feeling or planning fully.
Nonetheless, the film has aged extremely well and is a great display of the debate of what separates AI and life. Wires and veins. DNA and programming.
But in the end, Puppet Master got what they wanted. New life. Reproduction. The gap between the two has been bridged for what is life without the risk of true death.
But now we must slip our bonds and shift to the higher structure.
What would be the importance of being human?
