This movie serves as the catalyst for my desire to think more deeply about the media that I consume. I absolutely couldn’t stop thinking about it. It’s the Born Sexy Yesterday trope but NOT FOR MEN. Bella Baxter does everything for herself or to her own benefit, caring little about the feelings of the men around. She is so unaffected by the way that she so clearly deeply affects everyone around her. God and it was funny! In a way that I truly was not expecting. I could talk about this movie for hours. I’ll be rioting at the Oscar’s if Emma Stone is not AT LEAST nominated.
