I am physically unwell. The tension in this is so thick it’s genuinely nauseating—It’s rare for a film to have that kind of visceral, biological hold on you from start to finish. Most of that is thanks to the lead performance. What the actress put herself through to portray Nikki was nothing short of insane. Give her every award immediately. I was outright terrified, and that final shock delivered in a way that’s going to haunt my dreams for a week.
