High Life
If I had a nickel for every time Robert Pattinson played a crazy man with a weird accent in space directed by a typically foreign film maker that commented/mirrored modern society I’d have two nickels…
Honestly I have exactly zero idea how to feel about this except it is entirely impressive and repulsive. Definitely interesting ideas (ex: primal instincts, and nihilism as a whole 😭) at play to say the least and art can be meant to disturb… (so maybe that makes this a masterpiece?)
P.S. Had to skip a portion of this movie for good reason 😭, also this movie is hard to rate for me so just basically ignore the rating. ALSO I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM (WATCH MICKEY 17 OR SOMETHING ELSE)!
