Sinners

Seeing it in 70mm IMAX solidified this to be my film of the year. Sound design and soundtrack was PHENOMENAL. That scene was genuinely jaw dropping with the 1:1.43 aspect ratio. Full body chills, the scene alone is worth it for the price. Aspect ratio changes were also so fucking good. Every scene in the expanded aspect ratio was excellent, especially that one. Just a masterclass in filmmaking. If this gets snubbed at the Oscars this year I'm gonna riot Also, thought it was really cool that in the credits, they credit Miles Caton as Introducing Miles Caton Since it was his first role. Also Miles Caton fucking killed it.
