Hero

A film that uses colour in ways that not many could replicate. Fight choreography that almost becomes dancing similar to that in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Jet Li is great as Nameless but it’s the incredibly supporting cast that shine here. It takes the Rashomon style of storytelling and creates a stunning epic within the space of just over an hour and a half. Very great stuff.
