this was just weird. Not scary like elm street I just didn’t really know what I was looking at or supposed to feel. The clown wasn’t even the bad guy??? It was some giant bug thing I forgot was in the movie. It also ends with some big emotional payoff with his wife, who hadn’t been in the movie in 2 hours and 55 minutes so I forgot she existed too.  Why did they all clearly want to get with the girl. “I’m a virgin because I only like girls I love and I sure do love you” while staring directly at her.  There were parts of this I really liked. The sewer sequence in the middle was pretty cool. But it felt like there was so much shit in this movie I just didn’t care about at all. There was no need for this to be so fucking long. Pennywise was barely in it and he just kept saying stupid shit and then started tricking men into kissing him at one point, this is arguably a comedy.  The acting was fine but I thinks that’s just Tim curry. The main characters were trying so hard but I couldn’t care less about any of them. Also it just ends so abruptly they just kick the shit out of some spider and then suddenly it’s over.  Completely eh Bored of writing long reviews in summary it was shit
