Anora

shockingly good. it was incredibly funny, the plot was so engaging, it had great acting, and was so like just unique?? the movie was incredibly restrained in the way you needed it too, and managaed to avoid all tropes you might worry it would hit. the charecters were all great, the frequent russian was great, anora was so well done, i honestly can’t describe how well done it was. i wish i was actually good at writing movie reviews and could do this movie justice, but i geuss god wanted me to make apps instead. it kept escalating without leaving you feeling desensitised. the nyc vibes were great as well. i dont know how immediatly rewatchable it is since its a very plot heavt movie, but i def want to watch it again and talk about it again. they should make more movies like this, it was just all around fantastic.
