It felt really nostalgic rewatching this. This was what got me into watching horror films back when I was 14 which was basically the same age as the characters in this. It actually was an emotional watch like I didn’t cry the other two times I’ve seen this but it turn on the waterworks in me like these kids mean a lot to me and I just felt so sad for what they went through I think maybe cuz I just enjoyed it for the horror and stuff when I watch it the other times but I understood it more like the trauma the kids felt and stuff this time watching. Haven’t seen chapter two yet but I’ll be watching tomorrow and I know I will definitely get emotional cuz I’ve read the book (well half of it cuz it’s such a long book) and I know some of what happens and I’m so not prepared to watch it.
