definitely a choice. okay, it’s really not bad. compared to its company, it is lacking in a lot of areas; stylistically i feel like it has trouble finding it’s foot. i like the skrulls. they’re funny. the movie takes place in the 90’s but the most 90’s thing abt it is the 5 seconds captain marvel is in blockbuster. maybe the scenery is a little too ‘we tried to make this look as 90’s as possible by putting gameboys above the pre-pay telephones’. i know she’s labeled as the “strongest/powerful avenger” but i haven’t seen anything to prove that. brie larson’s superhero face/look she makes annoys me for some reason. soundtrack could’ve been better given the time but love nirvana and tlc. oh, and en vogue. totally forgot abt that end credit scene lmao.  RIP stan :(

i remember i LOVED this movie after seeing it in the theaters when it came out but when i rewatched it a few years later, i didn’t like it. i heavily believe this is a filler movie and it only makes me not like hope van dyne more. i think she is a bitter nepotism child who cannot reap the success of her father and is jealous of others’ (scott) opportunities.  the movie does give more insight into the quantum realm which is obviously important for infinity war and everything after that movie as the multiverse is heavily connected to the quantum realm. i also don’t like the villain in this.  scott’s three friends are idiots LMAOOOO super funny though. this ava chick is fucked up. going after the child??? for greed???? SHE LITERALLY STATED HER PARENTS HAD THE LUXURY OF DYING AND NOT HER. like the bitch wish she had died. now i remember why i hated her so much. this is a very funny movie tho. the paul rudd charm is 100% there.  i find it absurd that hope got mad at scott for leaving when HES ON HOUSE ARREST. her mothers been missing for 30+ years, 3 more days IS NOT GOING TO HURT THEM. it’s ridiculous. i hate hope LMAOOOO.  one thing i do love is cassie and scott’s relationship. makes me cry every time. truly amazing chemistry between the two of them.

i don’t mind this movie. i don’t like the final act but that could be in part because i don’t like jane foster. natalie portman and chris hemsworth do NOT have chemistry at all. the character is insufferable. thor love & thunder is going to be interesting for me lmao. i loved loki in this. i think his personality really shines in this one and tom hiddleston is truly an amazing actor. needless to say, i don’t think i’d turn it off if it were on. except if it was in the final act. then i’d have to avoid it at all cost.  with all that being said, i find this movie has a whole lot of nothing. i don’t think this really does much for the character of thor. yeah we see him become noble and turn down the throne in order to be present in the threats to asgard but i think that’s all kind of expected. the movies sole purpose was to convince its audience of this grandiose romance between thor and jane but i find them insufferable together LMAOOOO. it was not giving what it was supposed to give. so it loses points in that regard. just bc i don’t mind the movie by itself, doesn’t mean it’s not irrelevant in terms of thor’s story.

okay. i hate flashbacks to decades earlier in movies. especially movies with multiple in its franchise. i get why it was necessary, however, that’s a personal preference. pepper looks GORGEOUS in this film. i am so obsessed with gwenyth paltrows hair. it’s not funny. i also like how this movie gives tony more dimension with the anxiety. i think so far we’ve seen tony stark as this larger than life persona who’s perfect in every regard but the anxiety humanizes him more and really changes the trajectory of the character. HARLEY!!!!!!! :( he’s so cute.  cool fight sequences. i don’t find this as horrible as people say it is. does it compare to 1&2? no. but it’s still a solid piece of movie. i also think killian is one of the ugliest mfers i’ve ever seen but he might be the guy from memento. that’s a good movie. i quite literally hate this guy. he’s insufferable as a villain.  now THIS is a final act. so good. “here’s where you’re wrong, she was already perfect” STOP IT RN. STOP.  also the shot of his helmet in the flame. gorgeous.

i somehow don’t remember this montage in the beginning with odin. i’ve also only seen thor i think twice before this watch and both watches were years apart. i will never get over chris hemsworth’s bleached eyebrows. that was a choice. the contrast between the first two thors compared to ragnorak is insane. completely different vibes but i love it. is tom hiddleston my.. bestie??!?!??!!? kat dennings is one of the funniest women on this planet and i adore her so much.  PAUSE** fell asleep. have to rewatch again tomorrow - for now it’s staying behind captain marvel. prolly fell asleep around 20 ish minutes in or maybe 30.

PEPPER AND TONY. MY GOD. MY HEART. i love them. i really liked that this movie punishes tony throughout but i also feel that because so much is happening, the cohesion kind of gets lost. i love the intro to nat and i LOVE how happy’s more of a central character whereas in the first one he was seen a couple times. don cheadle fits right into the role of rhodey and it doesn’t feel like they ever changed the casting. i will say rhodey was funnier in the first one. there’s a lot of qualities to this movie that i would say make it pretty even with the first iron man. it’s got the usual mcu quirks and tony’s always a delight. it does a great job of eluding to thor and the next movies.  overall, i think this is close with iron man but i think the first one beats this because of what iron man did for superhero movies and the mcu. if i talk too much abt it i’ll get emotional. these movies mean a great deal to me. i’m also very obsessed with gwenyth paltrow’s hair as pepper. the strawberry blonde with bangs YEA. also cinematography was great. i love the contrast of nat in the white hallways as she’s in darker tones.

quite literally the greatest opening. baby griot dancing to mr blue sky while chaos ensues behind him. adorable. peak cinema. the rumor is raunchier than before and i kinda like it. it’s a different vibe from any marvel film. i love rocket in this movie. drax is never not funny. the movie feels really long tho and i have a very short attention span so it does lose me in places. it’s a good follow up to the first but compared to all the other mcu films, i’d place this somewhere in the lower middle region. the scene where they’re ragging on baby groot was unnecessary. it’s really sad :( again. chosen family. i enjoy this movies plot and the final act is great. this whole movie’s intentions are to give peter quill a character arch and add more dimension to him. we saw some change in the first one but this one really shows who peter is at his core while elevating other aspects that may have been overshadowed because of the life he knew with yondu. the relationship between yondu & peter is rather quite beautiful as peter comes to terms with who really is his father. drax is so good in this one, so funny and really SHINES. you really see the importance of family & that biological family may not always be the right choice and that’s okay!! it’s a beautiful message within these films and i really love how the audience gets to fall in love with these characters and their relationships with one another.  yondu’s death is really ducking sad actually.

okay. i’ve only seen this once before so this’ll be my second time. i don’t think i was that impressed with it initially but i’ll try to remain open. what happened to nat and yelena is so :(. SO. FUCKING. SAD. i also love how they can never quite get nag’s hair right. anytime after civil war, it looks orangier than usual.  i have to admit, i do not like the beginning of this. the montage of her childhood with the slow teenage spirit is kinda useless. the soundtrack is also something i would have never guess for a black widow movie. i do like how black widow’s more hand to hand combat instead of all the techy things involved with the others. it makes for cooler fight sequences.  we stan yelena. except for when she goes after my main man clint in hawkeye.  florence and david make this movie. the only redeemable thing so far, while i believe some parts are slow and boring, i think i’m too harsh on this movie. maybe im also a little bitter because scarjo never went to any of its premier events but i believe that was to hide her pregnancy. idk i wish the marketing was better because natasha romanoff deserved that and so did scarlett. this movie will however put me to sleep.  that dreykov is one sick mfer. i love their relationship!!!!!!!!!!

ultron is a MENACE. the singing after thor slams him with the hammer. crazy. tony needs the avengers. he cannot be without them because he’s never had friends like this or let anyone close like them in terms of friendship. CLINT’s SO FREAKIN COOL. every time i see hawkeye, he grows on my list of favorite avengers. he makes a compelling argument and drives a hard bargain.  i’m still so confused abt nat and bruce. do they ever explain the start of it?? this feels like a jump from avengers and winter soldier. am i supposed to have prior knowledge of this???? i don’t know.  this is clint’s movie. cannot tell me otherwise. this movie is also severely underrated. tony & steve always lowkey been beefing. they are polar opposites. and i love it. LOOK AT VIZ GO. if so much as a SINGLE HAIR is out of place on clint EVER, i will riot. clint :).  the final act is amazing!!! action sequences do not disappoint and the cinematography of it all is so good. comedy is there ofc. would expect nothing less. thor is absolutely yummy in this.

rdj!!!!!! i love you!!!!! my favorite douchebag is tony stark. i absolutely love the teases between pepper and tony. it’s really fucked up how tony got the arc reactor in the first place like if we really think abt it, very morbid. i love the story because it really highlights the seedy people who work with these billionaires who have all the access in the world to things regular people do not. obviously majority of them would never put their lives on the line to save the greater good of humanity but you know, can’t expect everything to be truthful in these movies. ALSO THE FINAL ACT. SO. GOOD. “i am iron man” *fade to end credits* - chills.  i feel i must add for reminder purposes that i don’t like the first half of this movie. it’s almost too slow for a marvel film’s origin story. if that makes sense. maybe i’m picky. also, reminder, this was the first movie to change the mcu and superheroes.  also love stan lee as hugh hefner.

captain america is probably as loyal as they come and chris evans is the perfect steve rogers. i really feel that this is the best origin story for any of the original six. it’s super consistent and the cinematography is gorgeous. it’s not boring either, never loses my attention given it’s gloomy aesthetic. the themes are so so so important. james buchanan barnes is the love of my life. peggy and steve are endgame. maybe i understand steve’s ending now. he’s a man who’s loyal to a fault and protects the things he loves. i think it’s a lovely full-circle moment. ugh. my heart. “yeah just, i had a date” the scene with the flame guns and steve’s in the middle-PERFECTION.  never underestimate the little guy ;)

LOVEEEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!! simu liu so cool. is the cgi kind of splotchy in some areas? yes. but i say they had to make due with what they had bc this was a quarantine movie.  the airplane scene is really cute. awkwafina is AMAZING on this role. but she usually is.  WONGGGGGGG !!!!! can never go wrong with a wong cameo.  is it as good as i initially felt it was ? idk. definitely very good but idk if i’d be so bold as to say it’s top 3 like i used to. i want a morris. movies really funny, a lot of cgi flaws but i’m not professional and don’t know the conditions surrounding the movie’s production/post-production. i think the chinese/asian representation is beautiful & long overdo. there is quite literally no chemistry between awkwafina & simu. LMAOOOOO.

i love this movie so ducking much. i love scott lang. i love paul rudd. i love michael douglas. the whole lot. scott & cassie’s relationship makes me EMOTIONAL. warms me to my core. i think this movie is severely underrated. it’s so funny. i also love the storylines of fathers just trying to be good dads to their daughters. warms me heart as well. luis’ recounting of stories is always funny. i don’t like scott and hope together though.

this is the superhero movies of all superhero movies. a classic. with humor and one liners no one will ever forget. i also hold this near & dear to my heart bc this was the first mcu film i had seen when my family all went to the theaters to see it. so i will be very biased. i love how the second time we see clint, he’s immediately summoned by loki like yes clint use those big brains of yours lol. tom hiddleston is my bestie. i love cobie smulders as the choice for maria hill. the fact that we just glazed over bruce admitting he tried killing himself???? agent coulson’s death will never not be sad. the movie is truly flawless from start to finish. the cinematography is so good and the SOUND. SO. GOOD.

CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED !!!!!!!!!! I LOVE BENEDICT CUMBERTITTIES. all of that and the only thing he suffers from is not being able to use his hands like he could before??? i believe i really liked this movie. haven’t seen it in recent years but i know for a while i would often put it in my top five. i actually really enjoy the story of stephen strange. i think out of all the douche bags in the mcu, he’s my favorite. i also adore benedict so maybe he’s already at an advantage compared to the others. HES SO COOL THO. the time stone???? hello???? great character development.  wong and beyoncé. so true. also I LOVE WONG. i just love all the characters within stephen’s franchise.  gotta be honest, wasn’t paying as much attention as i should’ve bc i’ve been researching hair care products buuuuut i know i love this movie and am confident with where to place it.

bucky:(( also wanda has always been a villain. her powers were too grand for her at this time. i also find the arguments abt her weird bc she’s morally corrupt. i agree with steve in this argument withholding the info that bucky killed tony’s parents bc that’s who steve is!! he’s loyal to his people!! it’s literally the same argument people make for wanda lmaooo. that guy baron kills- that death is my worst nightmare. chadwick :((( every time i see him, i cry. such a generational talent gone too soon. one of the greatest. i like how this movie makes you feel bad for bucky because he’s the victim at the end of all of this. like tchalla says. i also am team cap 1000%. tony needed to be humbled and all steve ever does is think of the greater good of everybody.

the soundtrack to this movie ALONE. i also love this ensemble of actors, everyone is perfect for their respective roles. bradley cooper as rocket raccoon is absolutely brilliant. the humor in this is top tier!!! i also love the color palette for this movie but the guardians as a whole as well. i love the theme of chosen family throughout the guardians movies. i think that’s beautiful and is definitely worth the attention in cinema. for the record, i will never ship peter and gamora in the way i ship pepper & tony or even peggy & steve.

chadwick :( every time i see him in movies now i cry. it’s hard not to. a once in a generation talent. gone too soon. will forever be left with the incredible legacy he leaves behind.  black panther is a GORGEOUS film. the cinematography is STUNNING. the costumes are AMAZING. this movie is incredible and i will never not praise it for it’s looks and the meaning. this was revolutionary. people wanna talk abt how iron man set the precedent for superhero movies but this. this movie set the precedent and some. it exceeds all expectations, it highlights a black superhero. black panther was the first highlighted superhero where a bunch of black children can look to the media and see a representation of themselves and say ‘i want to be like tchalla’ it is beautiful.  okoye is an icon. the music is also amazing.  every time i see mbaku, all i can think about it “m’baku can blow my m’back out if he wanted to” LMAOOO. the “hey auntie” kills me. lmaoo michael b jordan is sooo good in this movie. i mean everyone is but his performance as killmonger is top tier me thinks. HIS MUSCLES. IM- haoduqodjw he’s so menacing.  when t’challa goes to say shuri :’) always makes me cry. fantastic movie. 12/10. yeah. tears every time. every. single. time. rip chadwick, i hope you know the impact you’ve had on millions. forever our king.

MY LOVES!!!!!!! they’re all so cool. i LOVE THEM.  the cinematography is GORGEOUS. i’ve said that a lot but i mean it, this is stunning.  i love the guardians but the best are drax & rocket for sure. i also love wong. chris pratt (very problematic) but he makes peter quill who peter quill is. that kiss between peter and gamora was kinda steamy ngl. love it.  paul bettany and elizabeth olsen’s chemistry is INSANE. i hate when he dies. and then they make me say goodbye AGAIN in wandavision.  cap’s entrance- giving me goosebumps. CHRIS EVANS IS GORGEOUS!!!!!!!! the scene on whatever the planet’s name is kinda camp. the guardians steal any movie they’re in but i’m so excited for thor and them back together soon!!!!!  :( only one can be won. i HATE THIS MOVIE. i hate it bc i love it. but i hate the heartbreak that comes along with it. man endgame’s gonna suck. i have deep attachment to these characters and watching the movies back in timeline order will NOT help that.  the one liners in this one are so fucking good. also very rememberable. alright but i’ve always wondered why out of all the people that died in this movie, gamora gets to come back in endgame????? no loki, no vision but fucking gamora. i like gamora but compared to the other two options, i much rather prefer vision or loki back.  i also love how they try to make thanos somewhat humanized with some emotions around gamora’s death like???? the man wants to eliminate half the population for greed. i will never sympathize with him especially for his sorrow over ONE individual. i also blame peter quill for everything that happens from this movie on.   chadwick :(((( rip, forever our king.  chris evans is so sexy as captain america. i’m screaming. rocket and thor are an iconic duo. bounce off of each other well. “i can’t feel you” PLSSSSS IM IN A PUDDLE OF TEARS.  the fact that tom’s lines were improvised as he’s being blipped???? hello???? joe and anthony russo you’ve outdone yourselves but i hate you for it.

one of my all-time favorites. truly so great and rewatchable. love the introduction to sam wilson and bucky as the winter soldier. who the hell is bucky???? the HIGHWAY SCENE. so fucking good. peggy and steve are cute but they are no pepper and tony that’s for sure. they really fucked some shit up with those vehicles. the elevator scene is also pretty sick. the winter soldiers origin is so sad. but loved the showing off of the abs even though he’s getting zapped. evans has amazing cheekbones lmaooo i can’t turn away. they’re very sharp.  i really feel like cap’s trilogy offers so much without beating anything over the head & the lessons within the films are very valuable. steve rogers is one of the best marvel characters bc he remains true to his core and never falls when faced with some redefining events.

the greatest thing to happen to thor’s character. i love my bestie tom!!!!!!!!! I HAVE BEEN FALLING FOR THIRTY MINUTES !!! god i love him. the aesthetic of this movie is so good. the humor is at its best and i like the challenges it presents thor like getting rid of mjolnir so he has to adjust without it. taika has done a fabulous job. the cinematography is gorgeous. love everything abt this one. i’m so curious if chris hemsworth is actually wearing a wig or if that’s his real hair. it looks so real but also you’d expect that from a movie with a production like marvel. it’s crazy tho.  i would quite literally do anything to wear hela’s costume. it’s so cute and i think it’d look great on my figure. i think cate blanchet plays her very well. absolutely brilliant.  i also love that the hulk is here and has been since ultron. “he’s a friend from work” so fucking funny. thank you to the little boy visiting set from make a wish. you beautiful angel. there’s so many good one liners in this and they are all so memorable.  KORG!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!! hemsworth’s muscles are so big. like they’re HUGE.  i like the role reversal between loki and thor on sakaar. loki’s treated like a king and thor’s treated like a prisoner. kinda cool.  tessa thompson and chris hemsworth have more chemistry than chris and natalie portman. and i’m pretty sure valkyrie’s character is queer. mark ruffalo and chris hemsworth are a charming duo.  thor & loki :((((( i’m so sad. i love them together.  the final act is our perfection. truly. i love how thor FINALLY realizes his full potential in this one because he is the god of thunder not god of hammers like odin said.

STEVE WITH THE HAMMER LOOKIN SEXY.  the most incomparable final act ever. the russo brothers delivered with this one for sure.  i am so ducking unwell because of this movie. it’s not even funny. god. i want tony and pepper fighting together tattooed on my FOREHEAD.  i would sell every part of me just to experience this in theaters for the first time again.   “and i am iron man” i’m whaling.
