Before Midnight

“But if you want true love, then this is it. This is real life. It’s not perfect, but it’s real” DAGGERS. I’m side eyeing you Jesse but you ate with that one line. I think Before Midnight beautifully wraps up this trilogy. It’s the reality of love. It doesn’t sugarcoat it and the film reminds its audience of the discomforts that come along with it. It’s self aware unlike the first two. But the through line remains the same.
