Miles canton’s voice had me ascending off of the seat at one point icl.
And that I Lied To You sequence was so spiritually intoxicating, probably the most cinematically immersed and connected I have ever felt to a scene in my life, being transported through all eras of black music, felt so satisfying. We really are the blueprint😭. I would be lying if i said I didn’t shed a tear. 10/10 movie that rekindled my love for cinema and reminded me that this is what it is all about, it set a new bar that cinematographers and directors will be taking inspiration from for decades. GO WATCH ITTTTTTTT IF YOU HAVENTTTTTTTT
