Brokeback Mountain

"You know, friend, this is a goddamn bitch of an unsatisfactory situation."* * Watching heath ledger in TTIHAY brought me back to this masterpiece, Shame this film gets written off by most because it’s seen as that “gay cowboy film”, but in reality it’s a one of a kind and if you ignore it because *of that you’re missing the point. ** And you’d also be missing out on one of, if not heath ledgers best performance * Only real thing I can critique is Jake gyllenhalls performance wasn’t as strong as I remember it being and therefore takes away from a few scenes I held so high* * Gutted to drop it down half a star as it was one of my only 5 stars for a long time but it still holds a special place in my heart ** “I can’t get enough of it. Every shot is like a photograph” **- Bryn West
