Oldboy
Ok, so there's a lot that could be said about the plot and the story could be interpreted in a few ways, but I don't really want to get much into that. Firstly I'm very glad, that I gave this a rewatch, because previously I watched it without paying much attention and not being focused and at some point I got kind of lost and then after that nothing made sense to me and I didn't like it at all. So I rated it low. Now that was completely on me and now after rewatching it I can say that this is a masterpiece. The whole twist is obviously great, the acting is great, but what I really liked was that there were quite a few scenes where were subtle details that actually mean a lot and now especially when I was really focused while watching I noticed more of those details and then the whole movie just felt so well made like everything has a purpose all little things that seem like it's nothing. Although there is one thing that I don't really get and perhaps I just missed it, but the whole thing with people imprisoning seems a bit weird. Now like I said I think I missed it a bit, but I'm not sure whether Lee Woo-jin owns it or did he just use it, but in both cases it's a bit weird. If he just used that, then I guess it makes a bit more sense, but still something like that just existing and him knowing about it doesn't make too much sense, but I guess. If he is the owner though, then why are there other people in it? Because clearly he had a reason to imprison Oh Dae-su, but what about the others. But yeah that's probably just something I missed. Overall it's truly an amazing movie and I'm very glad I gave it another watch
