Parasite
It's such a thought-provoking film.
The worst part is that, in the story, you'll end up hating the husband of the original maid, who's a bit crazy. Even though he's just another poor person suffering the consequences.
Everything is so perfectly portrayed in the film. During the flood, everything is so filthy, and we find it disgusting. Like when the girl sits on the toilet bowl, which is overflowing with sewage, and she smokes a cigarette while there are bits of liquid on it. But for them, it's their daily life, and they don't like it either, but they have to accept it.
In this film, everyone is so innocent and guilty.
And then, the final scene, where the rich father picks up the keys and pushes the corpse aside, then smells the horrible stench. It's so much more primal than how the madman who kills everyone acted. And I was so surprised that the father was going to stab him in the end, but it's totally understandable. And on the one hand, who wouldn't have reacted the same way? Who wouldn't have wrinkled their nose at the smell of a man who probably hadn't showered in ages, who lived in his own filth, and who had just died? But on the other hand, it's hypocritical, because if he lives like that, it's mainly because you overconsume and don't want to share.
When the perfect life of a rich person clashes with the miserable life of a dishonorable person, it will be a shame for the dishonorable person: "Why did he do that?" While for the rich person, "Oh, the poor thing." Knowing that one of them will have had more than they needed.
