BEEF: Season 1

it’s ridiculous yet so heartbreaking, and the last 2 episodes are just a gut punch i honestly really liked the happy parts of the season, i like how they had gotten the happy ending yet it just wasn’t sustained forever, which sustains the theme that anything can slip from your grasp if you aren’t attentive, which happened literally and figuratively several times in the show acting is great by most, every one of the characters is a shitty person but that makes it all the more intriguing i never knew jake schreier directed most of these episodes, and now that im more familiar with his work i can see his style translate, it lifts the show up that much more. the soundtrack is great and fit each situation perfectly, really amazing cinematography in general, the dialogue is just 🤌 there’s so much that’s interesting to note about the main 4 characters being danny, amy, paul and george. i could go on forever but i wont you can really feel the time pass by within the seasons bounds, by the time of the flashbacks in the end to where it all started, you almost miss it this season is a work of art that is almost impossible to replicate. i adore it so greatly, and i think because of that, season 2 won’t live up to it, no matter how good it is
