Waterloo

Napoleon – The Nightmare of Europe Napoleon: The man whose very presence shook the world as he simply followed the path destined for him as Emperor. No film had ever managed to capture that aura, until now. From the firing of the cannons to the thunder of the cavalry, every scene of this bloody battle was breathtaking, perfectly portraying the romantic aesthetic of war and honor. My absolute favorite scene was the charge of the Scots Greys. The combination of soldiers ready to face death and the calm strains of music creates an atmosphere of pure, poetic melancholy.
