"he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts." ummmm... well... okay. i watched this a TON as a kid and the scene with georgie scared the shit out of me. it was one of the only horror movies that freaked me out so i would leave the room and come back because i loved the rest of the miniseries so much. watching it now, it feels like i'm tuning into a 21 jumpstreet marathon with a really good tim curry performance and a fantastic score. the 1960 storyline really saves everything - the kids are great and it captures adolescence really well.
