lovelovelove. have rewatched this way too many times. comfort film fr the soundtrack alone? MASTERPIECE. every song is written w such precision, emotion, and flow that it pulls u right in from the first note. i usually find political wars and history boring as hell, but lin manuel miranda made it so addictive, so layered, and so human that i couldn’t stop watching and listening. the way the characters r developed thru music??? aaaaa pure art. i felt everything. the ambition, heartbreak, betrayal, legacy. it’s fast-paced but never confusing. emotional w/o being overdramatic. a literal cultural reset. also the casting, the choreography, the storytelling style—just chef’s kiss
