The Wailing
It’s like a mix between memories of murder, the exorcist, cure and Jagten, but all the qualities this film shares with the films I mentioned are turned the max, and it works great.
Although it is a slow burn, the final 50 minutes are worth the time you put into it as you connect the dots scattered through the film since the beginning, leaving you asking yourself who the devil really is.
And prepare yourself for like a hundred drone shots of the Korean countryside.
