Interstellar

Ten years ago, I saw Interstellar in IMAX 70MM in New Rochelle, it was a life changing experience. Ten years later, we’re are back to relive the experience. It resonates much more deeply and I have a profound appreciation for it.  There is so much humanity packed into this film but there is one moment particular that on a third viewing caught my attention and my heart.  One of the most striking juxtapositions in the film occurs when Coop hands Romilly an MP3 player loaded with nature sounds. As Romilly listens, the scene transitions to the vast emptiness of space, allowing us to observe the cosmos set to the soothing soundtrack of a rainforest.
