didn’t think they could pull it off (it being a successful show based on the idea of road rage) but this was oddly deep and powerful. the show doesn’t waste any time getting into the meat of it (aha) and there is no filler. some of my favourite tv antiheroes i’ve seen so far. the story is almost too insane to suspend your disbelief but the frog in boiling water thing escalation makes it work. it weaves a web of the choices and mistakes of two people who are almost too alike to ever get on. there is something of the inevitable of tragedy in it. it’s funny and unexpectedly heart wrenching. i’ve rarely seen such a cast of lonely and alienated people that you can’t help but root for. i even grew to like george, even if he gave me hives the moment he opened his mouth.  i just love limited series done well
