I really wanted to rewatch Sinners right after I rewatched Weapons so I can compare them, but it's so hard to pick just one movie to be the best movie of 2025 (so far). Honestly, I think The Long Walk also has a good chance of being the best movie. There is something missing for me in Sinners, but I can't figure out what it is. I feel like maybe Sinners needed a little bit more character development. This movie is definitely one that deserved to be around 2 1/2 to 3 hours in my opinion.
