My notes and thoughts as I watch: 1) Daniel Craig is so hot 2) WAIT JEFFREY WRIGHT IS IN THIS HELL YEAH 3) Mads Mikkelsen is so hot 4) wow Eva Green also stuns in this, they just threw a ton of hot and witty people in one room huh Maybe the whole "man turned into nothing but a weapon learns to have a real feeling" thing is a little common but it's still an excellent story if done right, and honestly it seems like (from an outsiders view) a smart thing to do with the legend of James Bond, a character so synonymous with his suave and sex, but someone who I can see as a man who has never really been touched, not truly or profoundly, kind of turning the legend in on itself, he's physical but not intimate unless he's broken open by his care for another's life. With phenomenal performances from nearly every single person in it along with a beautiful style in how it's shot and it's colour, along with its Incredible score I definitely finally get the James Bond love with the intro to the Craig films, I think I'll be watching the rest of these with him in them now I will say I felt Mads' character's end was a little anti-climactic and I was initially really confused by the immediate jump cut to seemingly the end where everyone is happy but the actual ending does make up for that

"you cry?" The way that these actors can portray everything just through subtle facial expressions and their voice in honestly stellar and so noticeable. When Chiron gets that call from Kevin and he starts to not talk, and stutter, and you can tell he's dropped his act and is his old self again I genuinely couldn't hold myself This is a slow film, it doesn't give you bombastic moments to feel a certain way, you just feel throughout, and that's maybe not something I'm as used to but it's really really done well. I wanted to watch this because of the whole Oscars debacle 10 years later, and what I've come out with is a movie that is genuinely 100% worth a watch and it's awards. I think I may need to see it again though, to just really make time for it, cause I watched it in pieces, so next time I'll take 2 hours out of my day and treat it like a theatre, no distractions then I can really appreciate it
