Hawkeye

Falls under the baseball hats and sunglasses side of Marvel just enough to be enjoyable, but would've worked a lot better as a feature. It's honestly kinda heartbreaking that Renner finally got a solo vehicle for this character and is totally blown off the screen by Steinfeld and Pugh. It's inherently a failure of the project that things improve so much when Pugh is on screen -- it should not have needed her! Christmas stuff is cute but overdone, it so obviously wants to be Iron Man 3 really badly but it's not that easy to be Iron Man 3. I'm just glad it didn't have any spells or teleporting or any of that shit. Solid endeavour I watched while doing spreadsheets for work.
