This is remarkable and would get a lot more love were it a feature in my opinion. The mother/son relationship is uniquely relatable and every character's actions and motivations feel so incredibly genuine. Beautiful performances all round - probably the best McDormand and Jenkins have ever been - and the Burwell score is really really special. Heartbreaking but ends, just about, on a hopeful note. Surprised it took me six years to revisit it but I'll be watching it again very soon I'm sure.
