This strange and awful time was the happiest of my lifeLeft speechless by this magnificent show. Interstellar meets A Series Of Unfortunate Events meets The Leftovers... a wildly empathetic portrait of how catastrophe breeds love and art can save humanity from despair. Patrick Somerville has learned all the right lessons from his collaborations with Damon Lindelof, building 10 episodes that are constantly surprising and challenging the viewer and finding beauty and hope amidst apocalyptic events. Himesh Patel, Matilda Lawler, David Wilmot, Nabhaan Rizwan, Danielle Deadwyler... what talents. Incredible score by Dan Romer. I've been trying for the past week to get everyone I know to watch this and it's proving challenging but fuck I am just feeling so elated after finishing it. Why can't all film and TV have this much to say?
