Sinners

The last time I seen my brother The last time I seen the sun And just for a few hours We was free Even better the second time maybe it’s cause the aspect ratio wasn’t changing which I usually hate but I kinda understand people liking it in this movie so I think it was just the smaller details you notice on rewatch.  It’s a music movie (about music), vampire movie, a straight drama, a period piece, gangster movie, a musical (choreographed scenes), it’s a comedy, it’s got some western vibes, it’s almost a romance, oh and it’s also an avengers esque team up movie. It’s about culture, freedom, faith and desire. Hell it’s even got a scene straight out of The Thing. So yeah it’s stuffed in the best way and it feels cohesive.  Approaching masterpiece territory already. This movie is cinema saving.
