Dune: Part Two

said before that dune pt1 is the gold standard for sci fi epics, only to see pt2 clearly cementing this notion. having this rewatch after some time worked brilliantly as i could properly live through moments again - genuinely a moviegoing experience i’ll cherish  paul being pulled in all directions and playing with the ring - whether he wanted to truly be in the fremen ways or exact revenge, it seemed a binary decision but the third act was destined brev the scale of visual spectacle here and use of certain visual tricks - sir greg frasier 😭🫡 honestly, there’s so many moving parts happening simultaneously, plans in plans, the real harkonnens, the fremen ceremonials tests being similar to the rites of passages of bedouin boys to men, and this prophecy - darg looool i think each beat was given their time given how dense the book and story in general is so no real qualms  sir paul USUL  unfortunately couldn’t get to watch this in imax this time so gotta correct tht in the future
