My Liberation Notes
My life has been divided into two parts, before and after My Liberation Notes.
What a brilliantly written and well-executed piece. As expected from Park Hae-young, it's something that never fails to make you ponder about life. The story is developing the simplicity of somebody's life while going deeper into their minds and their complexity, successfully showing an emotional depth. Loneliness, acceptance, loss, everything is shown beautifully.
Ever since the first episode aired, thoughts occasionally filled my head, "What is liberation to me? How does it feel to be liberated?" I never thought liberation had become something so meaningful that I also start to desire liberation. I also want to be free from everything that's been restraining me and to finally be able to let go of the past.
My Liberation Notes is truly a once-in-a-lifetime k-drama. Every character and their development is so delightful to watch. Kim Jiwon, Lee Minki, Lee El, and Son Sukku showed exceptional performances. Embodied the characters and were able to deliver such a great emotion. The cinematography and scoring also made everything becoming more thrilling.
Until the end, the story unfolds into a hopeful, beautiful story. It successfully comforts me <3
