Our Blues is truly a wonderful masterpiece, always giving the most painfully beautiful story from the very first episode until the last, with a very diverse topic — friendship, love, family, and the hardships in life, this drama IS the epitome of the slice of life genre! Every week I cried my lungs out, but it also comforted me every time.
Everyone & their stories have their own lessons to tell, and it's so amazing how writer Noh Hee-kyung could wrap them all into 20 episodes full of depressing, painful, upsetting, yet very beautiful and heartwarming stories of the people in Pureung Village, Jeju.
With the beyond-believe amount of big actors, everyone was able to present such a remarkable performance by how every character feels so alive and delivering such an incredible range of emotion. It's still beyond my mind how we're able to see all of them in one frame. 🙂✨
Don't forget about the representation it gives with casting the actors with disability to play the roles! My huge appreciation for them, Jung Eun-hye and Lee So-byeol for nailing their roles, and for everyone in the team for creating this decision and making it happen!
And the ost, THE OST! God. With you is literally playing on my head 24/7, it's just soo beautiful.
This is honestly the first time I'm asking for a kdrama to have 50 episodes that I will gladly tune in each week. I am already that obsessed & emotionally attached. At the end, feeling so thankful for writer Noh Heekyung for writing something so wonderful, a very realistic representation of life. Truly a once in a lifetime kdrama! 💖
