I think after watching so much more of Kore-era’s work I have really gotten a grasp on his style and found this film so much more enjoyable the second time around. It’s heartbreaking that this film is based on a real case with much harsher real world consequences. But nonetheless this movie is executed flawlessly with many heart warming and heart breaking moments.
