Weak Hero

Beom-Seok is complete and utter trash. You know the previous times I watched this I had an ounce of sympathy for his circumstances, but in hindsight he had so many opportunities to stop and make it right. He could have fixed the relationship if only his fragile ego didn’t get hurt so easily. His circumstances gave him no excuse to act out like that. I understand it was difficult for him, but he made the choice to lose all compassion and it was him alone. This rewatch makes me truly appreciate how amazing of an actor Park Jihoon is, especially in that final episode. One of the best acting performances I’ve ever seen and that raw emotion felt so real.
