Caché

wow haneke is amazing  i love how subtle yet impactful this film is. it left a hole in my stomach without needing to be too extra. the long drawn out shots just added to the realization of it all. it had a lot of long drawn out slow shots that would linger way longer you would think they needed to and it made everything feel more natural. gorges character really fascinating to me because you never once doubt his actions because they are so real. the way this film depicts power is beautiful and pushing down something that he wants to forget so bad but things will not let him. can’t wait to rewatch and re analyze george
