About Time
What an immaculate blessing it would be to hold such a gift. I think of my father, and how I would have cherished it when he passed away, how it might have eased the ache, even a little, to tell him that I loved him, that he mattered. To take one last slow walk with him along the shore, to feel the sand beneath our feet together, to share one final hug, one final kiss goodbye, the ones I never got to have. It’s truely one of the most heart-warming films I have watched so far. It feels like the golden rays of sunlight that seep through your skin and travel deep, until they settle gently in your soul on a quiet, cloudless afternoon. A warmth that lingers, and stays, like a beautiful memory.
