Adolescent pseudo intellectualism meets Austenian virtue. I love this so much!!  I’ve heard this described as a modern adaptation of Mansfield Park, and though Stillman has rejected that theory, I choose to believe it in ignorance!  “What’s wrong with a novel having a virtuous heroine?” Also wonderfully simple and beautiful aesthetics.
