Blade Runner 2049

This film is a work of Art. Visually this is one of the most well-made films I‘ve ever watched. It’s amazing how it captures the value of life on the one hand and on the other it tells us, that even if we wish that we were something special, someone extraordinary, we absolutely ain’t. In the end we remain as a meaningless number. In the end machines are becoming more and more similar to humans and humans themselves are becoming more and more like machines. It stands out above all for it’s philosophical message and it actually contains a phrase that struck me as much as no other in any film I‘ve seen so far: „Dying for the right cause is the most human thing we can do.“
