*i dont care how long she's been dead... the bitch just walked on the ceiling!* In a typical Jewish Hollywood fashion, when it comes to God and faith there's an agenda that needs to be pushed. In this movie, they make it seem like humanity is beyond saving that our own Creator is giving up on us (also implying that the All-Knowing God doesn't even know His own creation). I think the "God losing faith in humanity" narrative tells more about human's faith in God rather than the other way around. God is never turning back on us, He listens to our prayers, our cry for help, our pain. He is the most merciful, and humans can always come back to Him but sometimes we just give up on ourselves that we don't think we're worthy enough of His mercy and forgiveness.

so silly of me to think a movie about a woman who moved to new york and is moving in with 4 models will actually tell a story about their female friendship and womanhood and not about a man, his boring job, and absolutely does not include a femicide case told in a comedic manner. Head Over Heels is a movie that does not know where the story should go and just hopes for the best. despite having some similarities with White Chicks and was released only a couple years apart, it's deservedly forgettable. the models are the most interesting part of this movie and IS the selling point yet they fail to figure out what they should be doing with them. instead, we keep getting a non charismatic main character with a monotonous line delivery and her relentless pursue of freddie prinze jr. i just wish hollywood in the 2000s (and even now) understands that women are truly interesting, because the amount of compelling and memorable female characters that they produced at that time only to reduced as nothing more than a love interest is unforgivable.

honestly a pretty good depiction of a woman who's traumatized of being cheated on and then goes on with her life thinking her male relatives, especially her only son, as her most prized possession and every women who dare lay her eyes on them is her competition who needs to be eradicated. all in all i miss when movies were cartoonish, simple yet meaningful

this was truly a testimony of peter jackson's vision and talent. with such a limited budget, he can produce so much in his debut film. this was campy, creative, soulful, bold, eccentric, cartoonish, gorey and i mean REALLY gorey, suspenseful, absurd, thrilling, violent, rich, and highly entertaining. the fact that it was produced on a low budget is making the watching experience feel more personal, it's like I'm watching a film project found in someone's closet that I'm not supposed to watch.
