It’s so interesting (embarrassing ?) to me how revolutionary I found it to humanize William Shakespeare. I guess I never realized how clouded and far removed the man, William Shakespeare, is from his own work because I never really viewed Shakespeare’s work as anything but posh academia. Obviously beautiful plays are influenced by real, very existential existences and experiences. Duhhhhh. Anyway, give the cast and crew one big Academy Award and just have them break it into little pieces so every person involved can get the recognition they deserve. There was no performance too small in this film.
Special shout out to “On the Nature of Daylight” for making unexpected appearances in my life when I need it most. It’s a gut punch every time.
