honestly i could look at this movie from a critical pov but it was so freaking enjoyable that would be stupid. the delivery of “guess what buddy i’m a cartoonist” and brenden frasers over the top performance of every line makes it impossible for me to hate it. it’s so absurd and cooky i love it. definitely needed an R rating but the late 90’s early 2000’s dark dreamscape with horrible cgi companions wins my heart every time. also whoopi goldberg AND saul goodman!! what a time to be alive. minus 1 star because it fell into the trope of the love interest being a super hot blonde with no personality.
