The Odyssey

Damon was surprisingly good as Odysseus but by far my biggest surprise was Zendaya who whilst having a small role made me finally understand the hype she gets. Can’t say the same for Tom Holland who I thought gave a very bland Hollywood performance. Overall thoughts for the movie was that it was great but not superb. I think the pacing was too quick, the runtime could have ironically been extended by half an hour at least. I also don’t think it ever reached the emotional climax that Oppenheimer had which could be down to the way in which the story was told, I’m not sure.
