i cried and laughed and cried some more i don’t think i can properly express how masterful this was???? you can physically see how much these actors care about this project and their characters. cynthia erivo and ariana grande deserve all the praise and respect they are being shown for this. they absolutely DISAPPEAR and SHINE as their characters. jon m chu’s direction and musical numbers are a sight which brought tears to my eyes multiple times. i was so so overwhelmed and overcome with emotion and joy at the end i could NOT stop crying i have loved oz and that world for so many years ever since i was a little girl so to watch something with this much love poured into it was so beautiful and mind altering my personal favourite scenes in this were dancing through life, popular, and defying gravity.  and jonathan bailey…….. thank you.
