Longlegs
“do you still say your prayers?”
“I never said my prayers - never once. They scared me.”wow. just wow. I went in with high expectations for this movie ever since the first teaser came out and it far surpassed those expectations. The movie is so disturbing that I couldn’t even find a comfortable way to sit in the chair without being on edge the whole time. Easily one of the most original and actually scary movies i’ve seen in the last decade. Nicholas Cage delivers an excellent and unique performance without being too sensational. Horror is Maika Monroe’s bread and butter, and this was no exception. She gives the audience an emotional yet analytical performance that solidifies her spot as a modern scream queen. Maika Monroe’s Lee rivals that of Jodie Foster’s Clarice and will go down as one of the best horror performances. PERFECT AYEEEE
