Editing in this movie was magnificent. I loved the use of restricted narration as we follow Zola’s POV. After all, this story is all about perspective. This is definitely one of my favorite adaptions of all time. I mean, a movie based on a real-life Twitter thread? I’m so sat. In terms of viewing experience, this was my second time watching it and I really enjoyed seeing my friends’ reactions. So many gasps, many laughs, and lots of collective anxiety.
