RRR
Finally after 4 years I got to see it in theaters and I gotta say
In this random indie theater in San Luis Obispo where I am like one of maybe 3 indians with an audience of americans, this is one of my favorite theater experiences
Again, I love silly over the top movies that actually owns that it is that and uses it to its advantage
This audience was laughing a lot and I loved it it was like see how a wrestling audience would interact on screen
Movie still holds up I forgot some really cool thematic shots and noticed somethings interesting like the scene where bheem was locating ram, the sound used to communicate is the same beat progression as the opening notes in Naatu Naatu
Man isn’t it cool to have an indian movie that made 1000 crores that visual communicates and uses its silly over the top action that still makes you understand the characters without text on screen or dumbing it down for audiences I never would have imagined that, wink wink
